Get Your Weights!

We’ve added a circuit-style class to our lineup, Pipeline! We move through a series of cardio boosting and strength training exercises that you set your pace to. Weights are a great addition if you have them readily available, but you can still get a great workout without them! So, we're sharing our top tips for adding weights to our circuit class!

  • No dumbbells? No problem! You can also use everyday items around the house like filled-up water bottles, canned goods, even a bottle of laundry detergent! Just make sure the lid is closed tightly and that whatever you are using is not a breaking hazard. You could also have a book nearby to use for two-handed exercises!

  • Have a couple of weight options handy. You may find that you can go a little heavier for certain exercises than others. Having a couple of options nearby makes it easy to switch up so that you don't burn yourself out halfway through the class. Adjust your weights as you build strength.

  • You can always make this a body-weight workout! You don't have to add weight. Start where you are and build from there!
