You Set the Pace in Circuit

In yoga classes, the instructor generally sets the pace. For example, in our Green Room class, we lead you through 8 squats. In Pipeline, we show you the exercise and the rest is up to you when the timer starts! Here are our top two tips for setting your pace:

1. Decide what your goal is for class. If you are building strength, consider going with heavier weights and a slower pace. If you are looking for more of a cardio workout, consider going with lighter weights and a faster pace.

2. Check your form. For example, you may start squats out with a bang, and halfway through notice that you're leaning your chest forward and the weights in your toes instead of your heels. Slow your pace down and keep proper form instead, this way you get the most out of each exercise.
