Puppy Pose

Puppy pose is best described as a mix between down dog and child's pose. This pose helps to stretch through your shoulders and chest. Puppy pose is also considered an inversion since your hips are higher than your heart! Here are our top tips:

1. Keep your hips lifted and stacked over your knees.

2. You should never feel pain in this (or any) pose. If you have tight shoulders, don't walk your hands as far forward. You don't have to lower your head all the way down to the mat, you just want to feel the stretch through your shoulders.

3. Need a deeper stretch? Bring your chin to the mat instead of your forehead.
