Child's Pose

IMG_8105.jpg

Child’s pose is a great resting pose. From table top, bring your big toes to touch and sink your hips toward your heels. Allow your chest to rest over your thighs and relax your forehead on the mat. If you’d like to give yourself a little more room, try separating your knees apart (keeping your big toes touching). If you need a break, this is a quick pose to get into while you return to your breath. Our biggest tip is to not forget that this pose is available to you at any point during class! Rather than overdoing something, allow yourself a quick rest in child’s pose, and jump back into class with a fresh breath!
